Yes, It's been a month since my last post. Done so much don't know where to begin.

I'll start here, 30 year class reunion was in June. We had a social at Billy Miner's on

friday night. I was hesitant about going for 2 reasons. One was, we had a severe storm

coming our way, tornado threats and all. Two was I haven't seen or heard from any of

these people since high school. So i was terrified! But i put on my big girl pants and headed

out the door. Storm went around us. Things were good. Sat. we were at the stockmans

club in the stockyards. Here I go again scared,scared,scared, of what you ask, these

people that knew me back when and not who i am today. But ,I made it. Need to really

work on my fears. All in all had a good time. The end of june brought me to having a

special time with Les. Trucked over to the brand new Cowboy Stadium in wee hours

of the morning. Kinda impressed, I liked the way the glass door opened the best.

I was a bundle of nerves on the last day there. But when she was done, I became

the I'm here for you mom. Then came july 4, had a gathering with friends and family

at the Waldrops, ate , swam, ate some more,visited with every one, went to see some

fire works but we didn't stick around for them we waited 45mins. to an hour, but the

cats game was in extra innnings. Still had a good time. Then it was the big b-day party

for Jacob Kevin Sasser last saturday. I would say 25-30 people in all. We took a road

trip to Decatur, Texas for this big event. There was a water slide, 2 wading pools, water

balloons, football game among the men, hide-n-seek, chase, food, cake, presents, kids

coming in and out, lots of excitement for a first b-day. And in between all these dates,

Lane and Kevin have been over for g-mama time of fun and laughter. My month has

opened my eyes to how much my life revolves around these precious children God has

given me to enjoy from the big ones to the little ones. love you all bunches.

B-DAY weekend

Kevin came over on sat.to spend the day with me. We started out playing with the rolly-pollies until one rolled into a ball and it was time to bounce him. The other one crawled away because he wasn't going to be a b-ball. We then proceded to go inside and play with some toys, took taffy for a walk, scribbled a beautiful picture, had snacks and napped, danced to g-mama's ring tones, played with leslie, watched sing-a-long videos, rearranged some furniture for some more toys, chased Taffy with a spatula, water the plants outside and splashed in water on porch, then went to dig up more rolly-pollies. we did'nt get very far with that cause his momma came right about that time. All in all it was a very exciting birthday. Thanks Kevin for the very eventful day. On sunday, Stephen came over to see me before church, brought me some very pretty flowers and a card, with $$ in it to spend as he put it for my PROM, I'm going PROM? he meant my 30 year class reunion in 2 weeks. I guess prom is better than FUNERAL as Leslie has been calling it lately. My children are really goofy but I still love all 8 of them.

rest and relaxation (EDITED!!)

My week in a big nut shell. Been on vacation this week, stayed around here for a little r&r. Got to see lane for a few mins on sunday, we talked about his field day at school, he had lots of fun. Got up early on monday and went to put flowers on Sas's graveside.I was bummed the rest of the day. Took road trip to Decatur on tues. to see Jacob had lots of fun we played, ate, napped, and played some more. Then it was time for me to hit the open road to home. On thursday les and i went and got our d.l. renewed my b-day is sat. and she needed to change address, then we headed to Belks. Ben and Candi gave me a gift card so we went, found this cute little black dress, yes I bought it. Then we went to Sam Moon's found some cute bling-bling (not as fancy as nana's) to go with my dress. Friday night went to texas road road house with my dad & Cassie. Did I mention my b-day is this sat. les and lindsey told them it was my b-day so they come to sing to me, but i had to sit on this saddle, and wave this towell above my head while they sing. To top it off Lindsey videos the whole thing. Now thats embarrasing. As long as we had fun thats all that matters. I sure did have a nice relaxing and fun week.

where to begin

I've been a little busy the last few weeks. Had lots of g-mama time with Kevin, we played and played and played. That little boy never ever stops. Wished I had some of his energy. When Lane is with his dad, they have came over before church, we have even met for lunch. Lane is almost through with school, he got all A's on his last report card. Jacob came over after church a couple sundays ago. he his pulling up on everyhting and just started to release and stand on his own. Please pray for Jacob as he his having tubes put in his ears on wed. 5/13, maybe a little more intense than normal has some damage to his eardrum depends on how bad it is to determine what will be done. Les is taking finals this week, keep her in your prayers also. Mothers day was really a good day, sat. went to Stephen and Amy's we went to eat at Catfish O'harley's. and sun. went to church with them. les and i then went to mexican inn to eat. And that night Ben, Candi, and Kevin came over. So much excitement left for a tiring G-mama. Hope everyone had as great a day as I did.
